Information for the Media
Wild Women Wearable Art is a group started by Dawn DeSanto 13 years ago as a way to show her one-of-a-kind clothing, without the hassle and expense of an art fair. There was a huge demand for her clothing, and one show a year in Louisville was not enough,
They soon added other artists Liz Tekus who owns Fine Points in Cleveland OH, and the hand worked glass beads by Brenda Morrison from Boston MA. Liz found Roxy Lentz at St. James, and she then became a part of the group. The group will often invite other artists to join us to keep the show interesting and diverse.
The contemporary clothing and accessories are all original designs, and much of it is hand made by the artist, all the work is sustainable to leave a small footprint.
